i've been using an old R&D intake manifold with v force 2 reeds. just developed an air leak issue, so i'm going to be pulling everything apart. i have a newer R&D intake that i was going to put on and put the older one on the x-2. my question is i've seen posts about manifold modded for v force, and those intake spacer plates. what is the purpose of those plates just better flow? and is there some reason v force isn't supposed to fit right because i haven't had any issues with the old intake?
