Texas is pretty simple...If you are coming from out of state, usually you can take your current license, turn it in to the Texas Department of Public Safety, pay a fee, provide proof of residency and get a drivers license. As far as the trailer goes, anyone willing to attempt to pull one with a gross total vehicle length under (i believe) 80', is welcome to give her a whirl. No special license or endorsement required. Hope this helps. You moving here? If so welcome. Where are you going to?

Sorry, just noticed your location "new to Dallas." Sometimes my tongue (or in this case, my fingers) get in front of my brain. Shoot me a pm, let's go ride sometime.

Oh I see how it is...I move away and now you go and replace me with some new guy. Sniffle sniffle.... There is only 1 Paulinator - imitated, but never duplicated (in crashing skills that is)

What you need depends partly on your age. What you will definitely need are a pwc, whistle (or horn), fire extinguisher and uscg approved personal flotation device (life vest). If you are under a certain age (I can't remember if it's 16 or 18) you will need a boater safety certificate from a required safety training class.

Other optional items are shoes (Slippery makes a popular pair, don't last very long but are comfortable; Asics or other brands of wrestling shoes also work well and last a bit longer), wetsuit/ride pants/shorts (Jet Pilot, Slippery, Quakeysense, and many others have several styles and colors to choose a wetsuit from; Slippery and Fly Racing both have a freeride pant with zip off legs; then there are board shorts that work well to keep your hind-side covered after a high speed spill), rash guard, gloves, helmet, knee brace. Oh yeah, almost forgot, Parrdaddy sports the Speedo panties as well. I'm sure others will have suggestions on gear. Take everybodies info and decide what is best for you.

Hey Skinny, try the Sams off of 820 near Tarrant County
College South Campus, I have taken 4 or 5 sets back there and warranty exchanged them. They always seem to have some. I got their last pair back in May but surely they have replenished by now.

Damn! Ride the ********e out of the HS. I SO wish I could be there. Already have plans and will be leaving out of town at 4 am tomorrow. Give me a report on the hydrospace. How it handles, How heavy it feels and so on.
