i ground down all my ribs and sanded the sides up with some 40 grit. the top deck has this white coating thats pretty damn tuff. should i sand it away so im to the golden resin or will the glass and resin bond to the white stuff alright?

thanks

I'd hit it with an orbital sander to make sure you get to a 'clean' depth so that it will adhere well, then epoxy away! Foam works fine for the bond line.

On my square that stuff just flaked off so I would grind it down the the smc or whatevr that junk is. Smells terrible when ya cut or sand it. I just filled the bond line with the ski on its side and then one layer or mat. Done!
