SX/SXi/SXi Pro Q- MSD Enhancer for a 99 Kawi 750 SXI-Pro

I'm thinking about purchasing one. My ski is modded. Milled head, Moto Tas Reeds, Factory pipe, lightweight charging flywheel, etc. Note- I do not have an advanced timing plate (I heard the 99 was advanced stock).

Would a MSD Enhancer be a good/noticable addition? Do I have to add or do anything else in addition to it, except just buy and install it only?

Someone give me the low down on this part. Good, bad, unnecessary?

Electronics make me nervous.

You can drop it right in if you dont have the timing advance plate. Sxi4ever is selling his i think.
I like mine over stock however i am trying to run mine wiht timing plate and the MSD retard kit. Right now it is in the ski with stock timing and its not a big diffrence. I say if you find a good deal on it then get it everything helps.

Retard, Advance, MSD, Stock, etc. This stuff makes me nervous.

they are not advanced stock contrary to what you were told.
you can run advance plate plus enhancer but msd then recommends the timing module to pull some timing back at higher rpm's.
used that combo on a 2001 with 217psi and 50/50 pump and c12 with no problems ever.
still pulled like a locomotive everywhere.
