As title says, I'm looking for a purple wave raider gas cap. I know a lot of people score sweet deals on 94+ raiders that may have the cap I'm looking for. I'm trying to replace an awful sun-faded cap on my superjet. (White with purple accents)

Not perfect, but pretty nice.
I did. It came out "better" at best. :-(

The one I have isn’t in very good shape.
This is how a lot of them are... Tons of sun fade. I saw one pristine one from someone who got a hull, but he wouldn't sell me just the cap. $400 was more than I wanted to pay for a cap. haha.

I have had really good luck restoring them. Better than a torch and worth a try.
Scrub the crap out of it with a green scotchbrite pad and softscrub with bleach. Then when washed and dry coat with Wipe New. It actually works really good.
