So I'm building a new ski and I'm gonna get a mag pump but not sure what size to go with. Is bigger better or is there some kinda formula for best performance. I'm looking at a DASA 1000cc and prob building this ski primarily for whitewater/rapids. So pump output will be needed through the entire rpm range. There is another guy on here selling mag pumps for kawi, 140 145 and 150.. I believe the price is the same but instead of just getting a 150mm pump I would appreciate if someone would break this down for me so i get what I need or at least understand what I need, because I have a feeling there is more to this than "bigger is better" Thanks!

When you get your engine built, dasa should have the answer for you. I think your right, bigger is better with bigger displacement. So dont go put a 150 on a 701 or something like that b\c the 701 wont push that much water.
