Super Jet Pump/shaft shim question

Im putting together my Superjet Buildup and just want to double check that my shimming is correct. The shaft appears to be somewhat centered in the up and down direction, however it veers towards the starboard side slightly. When I threw the midshadft on for fun it went on with no trouble and turned easily. Does my shaft look ok?
(The one pic was taken at a bad angle which is why the shaft looks so high)

There's only so much you can do about pump alignment with the front alignment dowels in place, my 07 build was the same way as yours. You can pull the dowels and elongate the pump bolt holes and get it exact or you can proceed and see if you can make it up with engine alignment. Sometimes it's a give and take situation between pump, midshaft and motor alignment.

If there's too much sideloading you can take out pump and midshaft shafts prematurely but it's been my experience that these things are fairly forgiving.
