FX-1 Pump port thing

Bought an FX-1 this season. I noticed that port off the left side of the pump doesn't have anything on it. Was there supposed to be a hose or something connected to it? The engine water intake is behind it a few inches. The bilge tube is on the right side and it's blocked off inside the engine compartment.

it was for the Yamaha rooster tail ass cleaner thingy that sprays 20 feet in the air when riding

Wow, that sounds totally lame. Guess that's why it's' not on there. You think I would gain any thrust taking that nozzle off and grinding the bilge port off and filling those two holes?

put the sj 144 pump in there = huge trust increese
mine wiill be getting that this winter or mag pump
i doubt that little thing will change anything

Don't kill the stock bilge though, they work great.

Filling that hole will do absolutely nothing. So don't waste your time

Yea the previous owner took care of the stock bilge. Not sure why.

previous owner also deleted my stock siphon for a poorly installed electric bilge that the driveshaft ate. makes no sense

I guess the original owner had some kind of hull extensions off the back. The previous owner didn't like em so he took them off and filled the holes. Now I need to paint it and get rid of the purple. The top half is in great shape so that's nice.
