Pump help

So I pulled my fx1 pump out to check out prop, put it all back together with same torque specs, silicone and all. Throw it in the water and fills up with water, def no holes in hull. What the hell happened? could the midshaft be letting water thru if it’s no good?

Factory bilge line issue? Maybe your hose is split/cracked or not connected properly.

Fill the engine bay with water and look for leaks.
