SX/SXi/SXi Pro Primer Button?

My friend just picked up a cheap 96’ SXI.
While looking it over we noticed that the start/stop switch wasn’t original. Then we saw the “Primer “ button.

Now obviously it’s not from the SXI and doesn’t do anything on this ski.

But does anyone know what ski it’s from and how it worked?

Never seen anything like it.

The plug to the e-box was OEM Kawasaki and the start and stop function normally.

Think Tigershark use to have a start stop assembly that had a bilge button just like that. Maybe they had a Electronic Primer version as well.

Kawasaki also used the same one on the ZXI to turn KATS on and off.

I'll get another picture of the front. It has a flat casting spot where I would guess the trim button would be but nothing there which makes me think maybe a base model or three seater.
