steep and cheap (http://www.steepandcheap.com/) has a brentwood helmet for 27 bucks. only thing i can tell is that it does not have ear protection. but i think its a pretty good deal.

I got a bell bellistic because I heard so much praise about it. Froogle got me a deal at 40 bucks. Its a full helmet, but has vents in the ears defeating the protection, but thats easily fixed by taping it over or turfing it. The large is a little small for me, but I have a pretty big head by average standards (24.5 cm circumference, we measured in stat )
