Years ago I got a bunch of the orange pipe they use for underground services. It was pretty decent material for bunk slides but it was fairly thick and really heavy.
Yesterday I stumbled across a source of a similar material only much thinner and a whole lot lighter. Easy to slit down the length and just snap over the tubes of your tote or beach stand.
The tube itself is one part of a bigger product so you can’t likely source just the tube but if you can source it cheap enough, you just toss out the unnecessary pieces.
They are the upright tubes for plastic safety Stanchions. We have cases of them here at work for temporary safety barriers. These are 2” but they are available in 2.5” and 3”.
