pos connection on starter trama SJ701 ??

pos wire broke off the starter so im working with very limited space trying to get the nut off the starter pole,it seems to have the connector squeezed between 2 nuts,its to thin to hold the bottom nut with a wrench and turn the top one off,so the entire pole is spinning,seemed to crush some little composite gasket between the starter and the pole,now the pole feels loose but wont come off?
how is it elec connected inside the starter? and how do i get this thing OFF

I have never had this happen to me. You might have to bite the bullet and remove everything to get to the starter to see whats going on. Better yet, just remove the starter.

My cable just busted on me a couple days ago, I didnt have a problem with the terminal spinning in the starter though.

I grinded down a open end wrench so it would fit,the terminal pole is a little lose but it still seems to make contact and start from a brief test anyway,we wil see how it does ridin and vibrating?

pull the starter,ets easyer that way,you dont even have to pull the headpipe.look down there with a mirror youll see what i mean

the pole is part of an assembly that has 2 of the brushes attached to it inside the starter.

I just replaced it,I cant stand having to do something twice,it was half tweaked anyway.
Butti I was using a mirror,I didnt plan on pulling the head pipe,but to see it the gas tank and chamber had to be pulled
