pole lenght help

I have the xmetal adjust able pole, it came set up on my boat at -5. I"m 5'10 and I"m leaned over alot when I have my feet in the foot holds. I'm thinking I should move it out some? I assume the leaned over position helps with rolls and keeping your weight tucked and foreward?? Maybe its something I should just get used too?

yes, thats what its supposed to do, keep you forward and over the ski.
there are people on here that run like -8 set ups...which i personally think is a little much, but its all personal pref. i run a -2 pole and a -1 plate so total i have a -3 set up which works great for me. im 6'1".
play with it and see what you like. it should def be making you lean forward more but also needs to be comfortable too, lower back pain everytime you ride would turn into a huge downer quick.
