Poked a small hole in waterbox rubber pipe.

How can i fix a small puncture hole in my stock superjet waterbox's rubber pipe which is in between engine and waterbox.

Do i need to buy a full replacement?

I was thinking about using some liquid gasket to fill it, since that can withstand heat and then wrap it with some silicon wrap i found on amazon for like 11$.

Does that sound okay? Do i need anything fancy, or will there be some sort of pressure i need to worry about it.

Replace it!

In a pinch if I was broke down on a trip, I’d cut an aluminum can and 5200 silicon it over the hole and put a hose clamp around it...

Then replace it

Thanks. And can you explain mechanically why? Do those have a ton of air pressure and it will pop my seal right off?

Now i gotta figure out the best and cheapest way to find that part.

Heat, oil and gas plus back pressure... but if wasn’t to try a repair ism sure you could get it to work..

Do you have room to Cut the hose in half and slide In A second of tube and hose clamp it ?

I have that on my outlet hose from water box to bulk head and it works fine

its got two puncture holes. From my lack of planning on my Tubbie installation =[

So, ill just stick to looking for a replacement. I found one on ebay for 70$. cant beat that. Although it looks different than the one i have slightly.
The guy before me put a 2001 701 62T superjet into my 94 square nose body. So i need to look for a 2001 superjet waterbox hose, and not a 94. right?

I think these look like squarenose waterbox.
