FX-1 Planning out my pump conversion but im confused

Im planning on dropping a 140mm pump into my fx1 over spring break and ive been doing my best to figure everything out ahead of time as im already feeling uneasy about the task.

So its my understand that the stock setup is that the couplers connect to the midhousing via the midshaft and then the main shaft connects on the opposite side of the housing and goes to the pump. How does the zxi shaft work since its 1 piece instead of two?

Im fairly sure i can manage getting the pump in (also is the kawi pump and shoe all one peice?) but im confused about the machining/bearings/shaft

Ive looked through a few threads that showed a few pictures but i still dont understand what is done to get the new shaft to work.

The 650sx pump is a one piece shoe and pump. The 750 and 800 pumps are different and look more like a SJ pump where the pump shoe is built into the hull.

Since it sounds like you haven't bought anything yet, I'll throw in my 2 cents. I'm sure it will be more work to install a SJ pump but after looking for freestyle props for my buddies 650sx, I can tell you that the only freestyle prop you will get for that pump will be a custom deal. I'll try to research the two and see what's the installation differences are.

Set the pump mounting distance for a 750-800 prop. The spline length will match the 900ZXI driveshaft.
