Pipe Cooling lines.

new red fuel and water lines with new fuel filters
many billet pieces and fittings

I know much of that is unnecessary but I just want to give you the whole picture.

As for the cooling, this past weekend I installed a Riva Red Pipe, and I am having difficulties figuring out the cooling lines.

The pipe itself is setup with 3 water line fittings, with 1 fitting on the exhaust manifold.

My head has 1 main fitting and 1 (1/4'') fitting.

Where should I T the lines? what should go where?

Is it possible to find a T with 2 half inch and 1 quarter inch?

Is it even necessary to use the small fitting on my head?

I know this has been covered multiple times, but I seem to lack the ability to find satisfactory diagrams or explanations in the forums.

If anyone doesn't mind pointing me in the right direction, or shedding light on the situation, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Mike Davies

For a stock hull ski with a single feed line from the pump...
Incoming line to bottom of exhaust manifold 'IN'
Cap the little 1/4 line on the stock head.
Use the 'OUT' on the head and feed the lower 'IN' fitting on the Riva pipe.
The upper 'OUT' fitting on the Riva pipe to a 'T' fitting, straight side in and straight out side to the stinger feed 'IN'.
Use the 'T' side of the 'T' fitting to a hull outlet bypass.
If you have a jetworks valve to use, put it after the 'T' fitting and before the stinger feed.

Trying to figure this out, but having difficulties.

Where does water go into the case at?

If water is coming out of the head at the top, should there be a line entering the motor somewhere at the bottom?

There seems to be two lines coming from the hull, one which should be feeding my exhaust manifold, and the other seems to be looped and going into a small box at the bottom of my hull, does that feed into the Cases somehow?

For clarification,

Here is some horrific mock-able pictures I mashed together on paint.

Not my pipe, but same setup

Any advice and confirmation would be wonderful.

Thanks, Mike Davies.
