Which engine degreaser did you use? I had ok luck with oven cleaner, but so far simple green has been the best.

Simple green is probably the safest. Oven cleaner or brake clean can strip the outer coating off of an am chamber or dry up and ruin rubber couplers

Well considering how water, heat and time can strip the (factory) coating of a b-pipe chamber I wouldn't be that worried. Definitely remove your coupler or any rubber parts before cleaning regardless...

My (bought brand new from factory pipe) b-pipe paint lasted maybe a year before it looked like crap...
