Super Jet pictures of negative cut square noses... please

Yup me too. Interested especially in exhaust reinstall and best way to glass after section is cut back. I have seen one where they reuse the very rear sections of the hull and chop in between that.

here is a pic of mine currently in the build process

i cut mine and reused the end cap using the OEM angle on the hull. Some people will straight cut it and glass in a new rear, others the slope cut from the oem location where the two sections combine and glass in at an angle down ward and forward to the desired "cut back"

i couldn't tell you which way is better. seems personal preference thus far.

my thought though is if you cut and glass the angle going down and forward you're only getting the cut back at the very button of the ski, rather than the entire hull. I would think a straight cut would be a more noticable difference.

epoxy resin only on the skis. you can bevel the edges so that you can build back up the thickness without creating a high spot. layers depend on the thickness of cloth you use. I had cut my tray out so i reinforced on the interior as well.

if you are going to reuse the OEM exhaust it needs to be relocated a few inches down on the bulk head or remove the rear flange. keeping the flange and not relocating at the bulkhead will prevent a flush mounting at the output.

see my build, link in signature. i'm not done but might give you some ideas.
