Super Jet Pics of SN pole spring PLEASE!

I have an AC pole on my SN with the stock pole springs and I was told by the previous owner it should hold the pole about 3/4 of the way up. So I think I may have installed it wrong.

Can some of you guys takes some pics of your stock or AC pole up and hood off so I can see clearly how the two springs sit in there. I have a manual and thought I followed it right but there is no tension on the springs unless the pole is all the way down. Even then it is very slight tension.

Thanks...I'm kinda done spending money on this ski for a while. I just want to ride it. If the stock pole spring doesn't work I'll look into that.
