i think that polaris couch has seen some better days. nice air!

that's a pretty big, non water tight cooler...

isn't that picture of that polaris the one that blew up due to gas being in the hull ? didn't it blow the rider like 10' in the air when he tried to start it ? saw the picture and it rattled my memory ..

Yep. That was about 5 years ago. We were chillin' on the beach...when, KA-BLAMMMMM!!! Major sonic boom!!!! I looked over and saw this guy flying vertically in the air, about 30 feet. Looked like a jack in the box.

His Polaris exploded and sent him rocketing into space.

He splashdowned hard and floated unconcious in the water. There were flames coming out of his destroyed couch..even out of the gas filler.

His family looked on in horror.

It was a wild scene. Women and children screaming.

People rushed into the water to save him.

The lake rangers atteneded to the guy. No major injuries. He got lucky.

Apparently, he had had the couch serviced the week proir and they left the fuel filler hoses off. He had refueled and there was a pool of fuel laying in the bottom of the hull when he hit the starter.

One of the wildest things I've ever witnessed out at the lake!

That is insane!!! Wow he is lucky that all he lost was his couch...
