Freestyle People who ride in Wisconsin

onlyFX-1

Jace Forest...BRAP!
So as the 3rd stop in the IJSBA national tour gets closer (this coming weekend) I keep hearing of more freestyle riders dropping out of the comp. As of now I know of 3 people doing freestyle only in AM, no pros will be going. ONLY THREE!!
Let's get more people out there riding, I know there are peopls who live in Wisconsin that can do some freestyle so show up and give it a try. There is no reason not to, just become a IJSBA member for $45 and that's all you have to do.
Hope to see some of y'all out there!

Pay entry fees, plus $45 to IJSBA, travel, fuel, hotel and ride for 2min? Yeah, great idea. There's my reasons not to bother competing. Good luck to the guys that do compete, I hope you have fun while I'm out on the water all day enjoying myself. :fing02:

I like going to the events and getting together with my buddies in this hobby. I would go whether I competed or not, so to compete only costs me the IJSBA membership ($45/yr, not once per event) and entry fees.
A 2 minute routine doesn't really interfere with my ability to be out on the water all day enjoying myself :dunno:

There are no entry fees for Freestyle (If you are competing at AJ's races). Just a once a year membership and $45.00 is cheap, APBA use to be much higher. Last two seasons I competed I just bought a weekend license, cheaper than buying a yearly license.

As far as bitching about a 2 minute routine, Without Competition there is no reason to try and advance our "Hobby", no reason for stronger motors, better hulls....... Also, you do it for the fun of it. "Show me what you got" and when your ski breaks, I am gonna hand you mine and say go kick my ass on my own ski. There is far more to competing than a plastic trophy. I have lifelong friendships now from people I have met competing that is worth a hell of alot more than a rank.

We got entry fees :(

But we usually get some good perks out of it. This past weekend it was free camping/RV sites.
