Peel off beer tabs

Remember when it was cool to peel the top off of your beer can and drop it in the can??

I only remember by dad and his friends doing it and saying "Be careful, you could cut yourself on this." I also remember wondering why they would put that sharp thing in a place where they might drink it.

By the time I could drink beer they had pop tops . . . which reminds me - remember when you could give a pop top to someone and it meant something like they owed you a screw? And there was always some chick that had a million of them on her key ring . . . I wonder if she got screwed as much as that key ring led me to believe . . .
