Description

Yamaha Waverunner 700 Engine Complete 701 w/ Electronics
Engine has low hours. Was run hot.It is not siezed but has very low compression in one cylinder. It will need at least the top end rebuilt.

It comes to you complete, including starter, all electronics, carb(which needs rebuilding.I will ship this but it will be expensive as it is very heavy.Sold as is.

(i talked to him on the phone and this motor was running when they pulled it out of the ski... lol ya right.. like a steam engine.. clang, pooof, fizzzzit)

I filed a claim and lost..

errrrrrrr ( ME)

I am appealing this because I still feel it wasn't decribed correctly
or
he was selling a junk motor..

I bought this motor EXPECTING to rebuild it or at the minimun have a REBUILDABLE CORE and there is nothing to rebuild other than the carburator..

This is a 2 stroke engine and the crank came apart from running it
out of oil.. the owner stated is was ran out of water "hot" which would cause the
need for a new bore and the pistons to be repalced not much else other than
gaskets/seals..

The crank came apart on this engine (from being run with no oil) and
the pieces of the crankshaft destroyed the head (unrebuildable) ,
reed cages (unrebuilable), cracked the cylinders (unrebuilable), ruined the
pistons (normal replacment on a rebuild),
ground away at the engine block so much that cracked it, its un useable
(unrebuilable)..
if i was to try and rebuild it i couldnt/cant !! I would have to replace (to rebuild this engine) the head, cylinders, crankshaft, engine block, pistons, reed cages.. this engine
i bought cant even be used as a core for a exchange for a rebuilt engine from
SBT ( a major rebuilder of PWC engines I checked ).. IT IS NOT A
REBUILDABLE ENGINE.. the estimate i got at B&B yamaha here in
victorville calif (that you requested cost me $80.00 for 1 hour labor for a mechanic to check it
out) the parts alone ran over $2500.00

This just isnt right at all.. no is no way he could have done a
compresion check on this engine without having it lock up from parts
moving around inside this engine.. He told me it was running on the phone..
If need be I will get a statement from Yamaha proving it could not
run at all !!

This is too much money for a boat anchor

Thank you.. Butch Musick

didn't I hear a story about you sellng a ski to a kid, he charged back through paypal saying that he never got the ski? then something about finding the kid and your ski by chance and forcibly taking it back? Maybe my imagination is running a little wild late tonight...

Paypal doesn't give a rat's ass what evidence you have. If you don't have a tracking number (that can be tracked online) and signature delivery confirmation, you are fukked.

Honestly I'm not convinced pay pal is wrong here. If you sent him a check you woudn't expect your bank to get involved in deciding if he defrauded you vs just being an idiot. Take it to small claims..

I agree with matt, that is supposta be the plus for using paypal. When you send a check or MO, then you just cross your fingers and pray...

But thanks for the tips on how to get a free ski, I'll just make sure to know bigger guys than the seller

Just kidding guys calm down
