On Sun May 22, 2011 - Four riders will leave Chincoteage Island Virginia and ski back to Shark River Inlet, N.J. Approx a thirteen hour journey covering four states and about 205 miles in one day. Two of us on superjets and two on waverunners. This event is being done to help Camp Happy Times, an organization that sends children with cancer to summer camp. A fundraiser party will be held at The Headliner in Neptune, N.J. www.theheadliner.com starting at 5:00pm that day. Admission will be $10 and will include a pig roast, as well as food donated from many local restaurants, drink specials, gift auction, giveaways, D.J. and live music from the B-Street band, with all proceeds going to the camp. Last years party was kick ass, so don't miss it!
We are encouraging any local riders to ride with us to the finish. People will be riding out of Manasquan Inlet, and Shark River Inlet. Stand-up paddle boarders, kayaks, and boats , even the Mayor will ride in with us on his ski.
