Super Jet paint the bilge?

I have everything out of my ski and am looking to put a nice coat of white under the hood while it is knocked down.... I saw a few pics floating around here in the past, what did everyone use?

Awlgrip and Imron are both common elsewhere in the marine industry. They dry to a very tough finish but are a little more challenging to work with than other paints and are priced higher. They will resists abuse/fuel many times better than most anything else.

dont want to spend the money for awlgrip. Any other cheap suggestions?

i see worst marine offers a pettit epoxy product for $29 a qt, anyone played with this stuff?

Interlux makes a bilge paint, I know Crab has had good luck with it.

Others like the epoxy appliance spray paint. That would be the cheapest route.

I'll be looking for the same thing in a bit once my ski is finished.

I painted the underhood of my ski with grey Interlux Bilgekote. I used the special reducer to spray it out of a gun. It came out looking great, but now, I wish I wouldn't have painted it in the first place. Fuel and standing water like to eat it up over time.

smoofer i see your cooling lines are swapped in ur last two pics what is you better setup on that srry to thread jack i painted my bilge with white engine enamel from advance auto looks good havent had first ride yet but looks good

The setup on pic 2 is what I am currently running, it seems to provide more pressure to the head pipe.

Dual cooling: dual lines from pump go into bottom of b-pipe manifold, pto cylinder out goes to bottom of headpipe. mag cylinder out goes to pisser, top of headpipe goes to a tee then to stinger and pisser.
