hi.I would like to know what the difference in weight of an original hull and a hull Superjet jet rickter fiberglass.

Im not sure if i am correct but i believe that the fiberglass one is 90lbs and carbon is 80 lbs.... For some reason i remember seeing that somewhere... Correct me if im wrong

My fiberglass Rickter is 298lbs with 1 gallon of gas. A bone stock 08 Superjet is like 325lbs with no gas.

The Carbon Fiber Rickter is 36kgs

Yes it includes the hood!!!

However; RRP has a Carbon/Kevlar version of the Rickter that weighs 31 kgs which is the lightest one they have!!

This version of the C/K Rickter is recommended for pro riders only!!

My Carbon Rickter with Hood was 86lbs before I installed anything. (Thats Hood, Scupper, Footholds, turf, pole pad)

We weighted mine 3 wks ago 1/2 tank, heavy 14lb battery, & 1in water in the hull & it was 297lbs. So I would guess no fuel & no water & my 6lb battery 260-265lbs

Thats also XS1000 motor, Billet mag pump, etc.

The Rickter's ride lighter than the scale shows, wider & shorter make it feel so stable.

Where are you getting these numbers? Mine and Aircraftsalz cams from a SCALE. His carbon Rickter is almost 20lbs lighter than my fiberglass one.

Did you weigh the hulls on the same scale????

Did you weigh the hull with or without motor + pump???

Do you have the same setup as he does???

My Carbon Rickter was weighted on a Certified shipping scale, I would say its right since I also weighted myself & it was right on.

Hull was 75lbs (Footholds, Scupper, Turf)
Hood was 11lbs (Hood & Pole Pad)

By no way are Rickters light ski's, but the ride is worth the weight IMO
As far as what a ski weights from the builders website, etc. most of those weights are BullSh*t.... Real deal weights are what I care about.
