If you would like to see a copy of my build sheet and actual cost of parts let me know. I have recorded the cost of every part I purchased and also tracked what that part would cost if I purchased it brand new at full price. Hopefully it will be worth it in the end.

My current build cost is just over $10K. If I had bought all new parts like Wamiltons and Blowsion, my cost would be over $17K, and that's with a stock SJ Hull, Add another $4K-$7K for a custom lightweight hull and paint and you may want to factor some labor in there somewhere too.

All in all I will have a good looking, arm wrenching, kick a$$ ski that I was able to build from scratch for under $11k.

The only thing better than owning a sweet ski like that would be being able to say that I built it...from scratch. But that's just me.

youre still getting a stock, non-reinforced hull and a stock engine with stock carbs + head and b pipe.

18,500 for a ski with a stock motor? no way... do you realize what kind of ski you could build with 20 grand? its all hype and not any performance. all it is motor is a stock 701 with a head and pipe... no way

it's well documented that wamilton doesn't build ski's for the kind of people who come to this site. More power to him for being able to sell those.

for the record, I wouldn't buy one of his "carbon" hulls either.
