Opinions- Keep existing sponsons?

My boat came with race type sponsons that are about 1/2 inch wide, should I leave them or remove them ? Seems to me they would be somewhere between tubbies and no tubbies. They might be glued on as well, and not want to come off easily. The pic is right after I brought it home this summer

First thing I threw away. Dont have a good pic, but they are there.

Na, but they only extended the sides, looked homemade out of stainless.

Anyways, about those sponsons.....ride a ski with Tubbies (Kevin's !) and see how it stacks up to yours.

I dont think CF is needed at all really, but if you want SILLY STRENGTH I think CF is best sandwiched between 2 layers of biax or chop, it just dont look as gooad that way:sorry:
