Only running on prime

I searched and read as much as I could before posting.

I pulled my SN 6m6 motor out to replace the mounts.

It sat on the bench for about a week.

Put it back in today and it will only run on prime.

The fuel lines are all dry.

-The lines are all hooked up correctly.

-Took the carb off and apart. All jets, passages and screen are clean.

-There is suction at the pulse line.

-Blew air through all the fuel lines. No blockage.

It ran great before pulling the motor.

Strange coincidence.

What am I missing?

I really wanted to ride this weekend.

This mat be something stupid but is your fuel on? Have plenty of gas? I have had a blockage in the fuel selector so you might want to check that.

I blew air through from the line from the filter to the fuel selector.
In both, on and reserve.
It bubbled in the tank, pressurized the tank, and sent fuel back.

So I figured the lines are clear.

I also swapped the filter from a running ski.

No luck.

If you haven't already: Try disconnecting the fuel (overflow?) line that goes back into the tank, place it on a rag, blow into the one way valve (white cylindrical thingy) that goes into the tank. When fuel trickles out of the o/flow line hook it back up and should be good to go.

So pull the return off and pressurize the tank through the check valve?

Would the nipple for the return line tank on the need to be plugged?

So does the system just need to be primed?

have u checked for any other air leaks (ie all gaskets are in good condition and installed properly?)

I'm gonna try pressurizing the tank today and see if it will prime the system.

Just tried that thrre times.

Got the fuel to dribble out the return each time.

Still only runs on prime.

try blowing back into that return line to unseat the needle and seat. Sound like that is stuck from what you are discribing.
