one-way valve & bilge

if im running a oneway valve do i need a bilge or visa virsa?

I prefer 2 bilges and the stock siphan bilge w/o a sit and sink valve personaly. But most flatwater guys prefer a bilge and a sit and sink valve as they want the water out of the boat as quick as poss..

Some people run one or the other some run both. I like a bilge, it gives me an indicator of when I have water in the engine compartment. One-way will drain faster then twin bilges (360's) persay, but I'd like the redundancy. I would say with a good intaked hood and a good hood seal, you dont need much more then twin bilges but one-ways are nice, I might be installing one soon.

I run 2 500s with my scupper just incase one breaks and for leak of the scupper plus they are good becuase they let you know how much water you have sitting in the hull

Just run on bilge. i never used to, but i am with my new ski. if your ski sinks, it snot a big deal....it wont go under water all the way

yeah im redoing my boat right now! putting footholds in, reinforcing, and paint! and yes i am going to put the foam back in!!!!!!!!!!
