Saber Outboard is awesome.
Very high performance oil.
Mix it at 50 or 60:1 and be happy.

This used to have a different name.

it has other mix ratios on the bottles..... i dont understand how I can tinker with mix ratios that much? I usually go at about 40:1 just to be safe, but to go from 40:1 to 60:1 ? Is the oil that much better and how do you know if you are getting adequate protection when running leaner?

It's a good oil ;)

The Kawi SXR recommends a 60:1 mix stock.
I run a Jetworks big bore engine with total loss and 200 psi on 50:1 (Amsoil Dominator).

That oil is better than most. I have seen people mix it 100 to one for years on more than one of their boats. I am talking compression, pipe and ridden hard. I would like to see the guys that say cheap oil is just as good run their cheap oil at 80 to 1. I have used it at 80 to 1 on a good limited superjet running 205 psi and 50 % race fuel for years. On my old superstock I used to run 215 psi Trick blue straight or unocal with 50 percent of this oil and 50 percent 927. Worked and smelled good.
What people don't understand is it loaded with more additives because it is designed to be run at a leaner ratio. The additive package is what makes or breaks an oil.
