Can anyone tell me if all the OEM SX-R steering pivot/bars, etc. bolts on the KAWI X-metal adjustable pole?

I already know it mounts up to the OEM Kawi pole bracket down on the hull.
Thanks in advance!!

steering stop is suppose to come with the pole.

Ok, i see now. These use a YAM based steering plate and mount on top and use the pole pad support bracket thing as the steering stop. I see there is no way the OEM SX-R turn plate will work with this system(what i was wanting to know).
I think for now I'll move the steering/throttle hardware to the right side like a yam and run a OEM yam turn plate. We'll see how that goes.

Uh, if you do that, then when you go to turn left, you will turn right........ Steering cable has to remain on the left. Unless you move at over at the pump also

I know, thats what I want it to do...

LOL, duh, that really does make sense... :439:

Ok then, Ill have to just drill and tap for the steering cable stop on the other side of the turn plate.
Thanks Harrison!
This all for a friend. I just put Blowmevision railcaps, WCF footholds and turf for him, now doing this handle pole job.

I just went through this when installing my Xmetal pole on the SXR. It was easier to just purchase the adjustable steering system that goes with the pole. It was well worth it. I would imagine that you could get it to work as long as you have the right pivot bolt and teflon washers/bearings.

Ya, Im sure it was. Thanks for the advice! I know i loved my Xmetal steering set up that i had on my SJ before i sold it. I want to get another straight bar system for my current build.

My friend will purchase one soon in the near future especially when he sees the green Yam OEM one Im gabout to install...lol I just know hes dumped about 1.2K on a bunch of parts/work for this SX-r and is kind of tapped on $$$ for a while.
