Could someone tell me if there is any difference between OEM Yamaha and ProX piston rings? Both sets (which are now mixed up) have the same cross-sectional dimensions. The height of the tallest part of the Keystone is .047" and the width is .114" on all four piston rings.
Is there any problem using OEM Yamaha Piston Rings with ProX pistons? Both OEM Yamaha and ProX (and Sudco) pistons are manufactured by ART and I cant imagine they would machine different ring glands just for the pistons they sell to the OEMs, but I dont know this for sure.
Can someone help me out here?
