Not-too-bulky cold weather boots?

I live much closer to the water now, so I'm planning on riding through the winter. In the summer I wear ASICs, so my footholds are padded right for them, which doesn't leave much room for bulky winter boots. Does anyone have any tips on warm boots that will fit in my ASIC-sized footholds?

honestly, go to a dive shop, get some diving boots with the rubber sole on them, they will keep your feet warm, you will look goofy though, or you can order some neoprene socks 5mm thick or more......... KMAC has some that works pretty good..

I just acquired some 3.5m neoprene wading shoes that zip up and have a velcro tie. rubber soled neoprene sides worked well yesterday but it was pretty warm so no cold weather review yet. The bad thing is they get water in them and can be somewhat annoying when out of water. Cost $28.50 out the door from sports authority formerly Gart sports

Gill boots did it for me when racing small sailboats, decent traction on gelcoat too. And if thats too cold then add fleece, or wool socks.

Freestylin-FX1, the reason the boots get water in them is because they are supposed to. My gill boots do it to, same concept. Let in a little water, and your body warms it up and that keeps you warm. Wetsuits work the same way.
