no spark

hi guys

my cousin hasnt had much with his newly swapped superjet
1st outing water in carbs
2nd outing battery died
3rd diapharm cover came off
4th run on the beach put it in and no go

now since then we have checked everything all electrics as per the manual and we could never get a spark the only item that was out of spec was the rectifer do these just go and is it wise to one second hand or buy new


on a better note i pick up my 04 un raced:biggthumpup: with less than 30 hrs:biggthumpup:

this saturday cant wait (just need to fix my cousins ski so i have someone tho go with)

check the start stop switch.

do some searches here with "spark" as search terms, LOTS of reading that will lead you to your cousins problem.

the rectifier has nothing to do with spark
all it does is turn a/c volts into d/c volts to keep ur battery charged

pulser,exciter and stator are key
did y check one wire to ground to see if is grounding out?
how about the cdi box?
