Nice to be back riding in 73degree water.

What a nice ride today, a bit overcast and not that warm but that 73degree water made up for it. Still had a wetsuit on and my hot water pissers were in full swing but it was nice to go out for over an hour at a time and actually feel all my appendages at the end.

x2... summer is not refreshing at all.

I've lived in the south most of my life but went to college in WV. Water that isn't completely refreshing in the summer is SOOOO much better than water that makes your body hurt because it's too cold!! If I could keep the same job I have now and move somewhere warmer than middle GA, I'd barely blink an eye before saying yes.

Fort Myers!? Cool, I used to vacation there a ton at my parents condos as a kid. I'd love to ride there. I can't believe you wear a wet suit in 73 degree water! I don't wear a wetsuit on a 60 degree day in 45 degree water.

Yep, the water here in Florida just get's too damn hot during the summer months, so it's a joy to be able to ride in comfort during the winter.

Saturday was beautiful, partly cloudy with the occasional meatball, and Sunday there was just myself and another Stand-up rider in the swamp!
