Blaster New to the forum and in need of some advice

Hi, i've just bought my first Waveblaster and found this forum to be one of the best regarding Waveblaster knowledge.

My blaster is a '94 and it's totally stock except the paintwork. I'm a big guy and would like some more power, and from what I've read the best way to get this is to change the exhaust.

The WB was never sold in Sweden and only a few was imported, this makes it really hard to find used WB parts over here. I'm looking for a Factory B pipe and the only place where I can find them is on Ebay, but they are usualy expensive and in poor condition.

So I wonder if there is any exhaust that I can buy new for my WB1 and that is almost as good as the Factory pipe? Asked 701 Industries if they had any plans on making a exhaust for the blaster but they didn't, at least not in the nearest future. But they told me that Nynja might come whit an exhaust soon, is there anybody that can confirm this? Couldn't find their homepage, otherwise I would have e-mailed them and asked them myself.

Please forgive my poor english..

/Marcus

Your english is great Marcus.

I do see B pipes on here from time to time. I'm not a blaster expert, but I'm guessing the B pipe is your best option. A good prop is key too.

protecperformance.com they have brand new exhaust, factory b pipe r about the best but they dont make them anymore thats y old used ones r so expensive, pro tec pipes r id say about the next best thing.

Hi macke,
there is also a Waveblaster forum on face book you could join.
there are a lot of knowledgeable blaster owners on there and possible connections for parts..

Nynja has come up with an exhaust comparable, and perhaps better than Factory pipe. It should be available very soon, there was a thread on PWCToday about it. http://www.pwctoday.com/showthread.php?t=401387

I dont know if you can buy it as a package yet but they do have the exhaust manifold, headpipe, and chamber seperate. Its more money than a Factory Pipe, but it might be just as much for you because you're in Sweden.

Welcome to the blaster family!

Thanks! I found that tread and lifted it by asking a couple of questions. Found a mailadress to Nynja as well and you can see our correspondence below...

M: Ok, that sounds great. So what's the price for the full package (Rony Rawk Racing™ Triple Threat™ package) ? Is your package complete or do I need any other parts to get my machine running?

N: Exhaust manifold is $274usd
head pipe is $395usd
and a chamber is $465
this will come with the two gaskets needed, bolts and washers for the head pipe and the coupler and 2 hose clamps.

M: Is this a copy of the Factory B Pipe? The reason I'm wondering is because I'm told that the Factory pipes is the best pipe out there for the Waveblaster, both regarding HP gain and easy installation. But since they don't make them any more I'm looking for the next best thing out there...

N: Copy....well some will say yes. We did use the manifold and head pipe as a template but then revised them to work better. Most people would bore the exit hole on the manifold and inlet hole on the head pipe to 48mm. We made ours up to 50mm and had to put the head pipe at a different angle since the 50mm goes all the way thru not just at the opening. The chamber is mocked off of the old TNT super stock chamber, which was the BEST performing chamber on the market.

M: Does this exhaust come with a guide for the installation and do I need to dismount the engine and install the exhaust with the engine out of the hull?

N: Instructions, no. but it is as simple as unbolting the stock pieces and bolt up the C4 exhaust.

I think it sounds really good, even if the price is a bit high. What do you guys think?

Its expensive but you're getting a Nynja chamber which sells for $465 alone. This is the best chamber on the market.

Yep, expensive but probably the best alternative to a used B pipe. Shipping to Sweden will add at least 100$ to the price, and if it get's stopped in the customs they will add 20% to the total price as an extra tax.
