New rider questions

Ok, so I've finally decided to venture to the standup side of jetskis, and bought an 01 Superjet. It already has an R&D rideplate & grate. Once I get comfortable on it, I'll start on trying tricks. What are the easier tricks to start with, and what do I move up to once I've got those down? Also, I understand that I would need a little more power, and nothing is done, motor wise, to the ski. what are some of the mods I should be looking at? I've already ordered hydroturf & foot holds. the foot holds will not go in until I'm absolutely sure I need them. Most of my riding will be done in the ocean, as I'm only 8-10 miles from the beach. Any information will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

for ocean riding you really don't need many mods footholds are essential though
try with hood tricks spinning 360 tail stands etc hood tricks are very difficult in the surf why not try find a lake to practice on until your used to the ski then venture into the surf

i would buy a pipe and impeller first and foremost. thats enough motor work for awhile. shorten pole (i like -2") and buy a steering setup with quicksteer or make your own. do a search, there are many threads on this topic....

have fun!!!
