Just wanted to introduce my new baby. She's the little '91 650 SN in my avatar. Pretty much stock except for a WestCoast plate and a Solas grate. Hull is in real nice shape, ran a little sluggish at first, but a new set of plugs, some new gas and a little time cleaning the carb, and she runs like a dream.

I am now officially open for suggestions on how to wake the lower end of this baby up...and no, I am not quite ready to just yank the engine and toss a 701 in.

Take the engine out of your blaster:wavey:

Seriously though, like tocr said, mill the head and find a cheap coffman or protec pipe old skool 8/16 skat prop (or blaster prop?). Or grab up some old snowmobile or dirtbike pipes, a cheap mig welder and a case of beer and make your own.

gotta love the SN!
welcome to the club

Thanks! I actually bought it to fix up and re-sell to make some cash, since I got a great price on it.

But, once my son rode it, the idea of selling it went right out the window.

Plus, it never hurts to have a back up ski if the roundie is being messed with in the cellar.

yeah I bought the SN as a backup to my 750
now my son rides the 750 (WD REVs etc.) I built for freestyle and I am on the SN.
I like it better than my buddies tricked out 05 RN I ride with.
Which mudhole in Taxachusetts do you ride at?
I was born and raised there, but fled south of the mason dixon years ago . . .

I mostly ride on a couple different lakes in Groton. Hopefully this upcoming spring I'll hit the surf up at Hampton, now that I have a little more confidence in my riding.
