I didn't want to put this in Negative but it's not quite positive so I will leave it here.
I purchased an XFT hull from Birdman in February, met him in Indiana and took it home to sit in my garage until just recently. As I am now getting around to assembling it, I am finding a handful of things that where not as advertised.

The hull http://x-h2o.com/index.php?threads/carbon-free-x-xft-5.171189/ was sold as "comes with everything you need just drop in a long block and ripp" but I noticed right away when I looked at it, he had taken the impeller out of it, I was fine with that. As I was putting things together this week I noticed a few more things.
One of the motor mounts is 99.5% separated, just trying to unscrew the hardware with my hand made the top plate come apart from the rubber. The midshaft bearings are wasted such that there is a bunch of play in the midshaft. The waterbox has a loose baffle, sounds like a cowbell when you move it. The start stop wires and bilge pump wires where just clipped when the ski was disassembled and it had only a couple of straps and not all the hull hooks. So, just needs a long block, really means, a long block, motor mounts, impeller, start stop switch, waterbox, midshaft rebuild, etc.

I am mostly at fault for not noticing all these things when I picked it up, but there was no way he didn't notice all of these things when dis-assembling the ski. It is what it is, but I wanted this out there for anybody else buying a ski, inspect carefully.
