I have changed some part on my sxr 800 -08
wetpipe
lightweight flywheel
Tau Ceti Pro Series Air Filter 1.5inch Tall
freestyle pump cone
bored nozzle to 80mm
Solas 800SXR KP.DF.13.22 Pitch Impeller
rejetted the carbs to 152.5 (I think)
now to my problem, im not sure how much of a difference this parts will do but think they sould give moore than what im getting. I have tried the FP settings on the pipe and the carbs but still I cant get moore then 6950 rpm. im not very good at engines so dont really know what to do. I think it is really slow on low and mid rpm, maby not that bad on mid but still not good enough, high rpm is fine. when Im on low rpm and give maximum gas its like not very much happens for a couple of seconds and when I reach high mid rpm and above the difference is significantly. cant i get a smoother effect? maby I got the carb screw for low end wrong so I get to much or to little gas on low rpm? now I run the pipe with the top screw 1/8 turn out and the middle closed and bottom out 1/2 turn, is that ok or is it completely wrong? im having a hard time explaning in english, hope someone understands what I mean.
