Well me and two other guys worked for an hour and a half trying to get a new blowsion pole spring on my square nose. Tried just about every trick I could think of but no luck. It has a stock bracket with a AC pole. It is the right spring for the square I lined it up to one of the stockers and it has the right bends in the right places can anyone help???

I was in the same boat as you (UMI spring).... I just had some one hit the bolt wiht a hammer as iI pulled with all the life of me to line it up. Sounds bad but it worked good and the springyness seems great!

good luck

They are a bitch to install. I usually start the bolt until it is sticking out about 1 inch on the inside of the right hand side of the pole. Then I position the spring and while someone is holding the pole I take a hammer or something with a wooden handle and press down on the spring to make it line up with the bolt. While holding the spring down the person holding the pole or a third person can drive the bolt through the spring. When the bolt gets most of the way through the spring I usually move the pressure to the left side of the spring and make sure bolt enters the left side hole. After that you are home free. I actually did it by myself once but it required lots of cussing and several attempts. Two people can usually get it done in a few minutes. Good luck.

Take the bracket off the ski and put it in a vice. Your life will be so much easier. Even if it seems like it might be more of a hassle or take longer, believe me, it's worth it in the end.

With bracket off I found it easiest to clamp the pole down to the work bench and move the bracket around.
