Super Jet need HELP with NYNJA pipe

'90 SN 61x/61x
so I installed the motor and put the pipe on the motor
and went to bolt down the motor and it is at least an inch from being able to bolt down :crazy:
so now what?
pull the pipe and beat it with a baseball bat???

I dont understand the problem. Why is your motor sitting high?

How is it even in the coupler? Why put the pipe chamber on before bolting the motor in?

the tank needs to be as far foward as possible...i had to turf the front of my tank cause the pipe rubs it....also the pipe mount bracket will have to be adjusted...

the pipe is too fat and hitting the side of the ski cocking the motor to the right
been playing the pipe with a small 3 pound hammer and it just fits now
a little more hammering to make room for a layer of turf between the side of the chamber and the hull ....
no problem with the gas tank in the SN, just had to cut about 1/2 inch off one side the lord mount bolts so it wouldn't rub
the pipe mount bracket itself seems fine and properly configured
hope this is worth the effort!

It took a bunch of hammering but I think it will now fit.
UGLY! but you cant see that side once installed
Hopefully it will look better in the morning

The hammer may have helped but it sounds like the beer was what you needed.
i have a NYNJA in my Superfreak and my gas tank is close to the motor. Took some serious bracket heating/bending and a minor heating of the tank but it works very well
