Super Jet Need help with hesitation that just appeared

My 96 has been running great this past year and up to this last weekend. I was riding friday and halfway through the ride I noticed the ski had developed a hesitation. The hesitation happens if I pull it wide open from 1/8 throttle or so. What's weird is I dont feel like it happens everytime I pull full throttle. Plugs look good and brown so I feel like tuning is still good.

Should I be looking at carb rebuild or what else........?

This happened to me and it was my spark plugs. What plugs are you using. Cause I used br8hs-10 which is a wide gap plug and cause my motor to hesitate and even misfire.

I doubt his plugs changed into wide gap plugs mid-ride without his knowledge.

I'm running the BR8HS plugs and I just pulled them after yesterday's ride and they look very rich. I pulled them before yesterday's ride and they looked brown. Anyway it could have richened up on me without me adjusting anything?

I threw some new plugs in today and it ran great with no hesitation until I overheated the motor and the sensor shut me down. I located the problem (cooling line became disconnected) and fixed it and rode again and the hesitation was back again. Plugs still look new

if it ran well last year and has sat for a while i would highly recommend carb rebuilds. make sure you replace the small dime sized clear check valves in the carbs with new ones from the kit. i had a similar problem and 100% rebuilt carbs took the problem away. cleaning them did not sure the problem
