Freestyle Need Help With Foot Straps

I just purchased Sumo foot straps from blowsion for my FX1 and when I went down and looked at my ski, it looked like the tray was way to small to put them side by side (which I originally planned to do). These straps also look like they are a pain to install, wondering if anyone had any pointers?? I also considered maybe putting the straps half on the inside rail and meeting in the middle if that makes sense but worried about drilling directly into the side rails. Any help would be amazing or these things are getting sent back.

I would recommend footholds. you can get a wider stance

yeah i have their kit... plus the hold are going to be a winter project.. this is just for summer

I was thinking of putting some on my sxr. Most who don't want to drill there hull weld a nut on a washer and glass it in. I an going to weld 4 nuts on a thin sheet of steel as long as the tray and glass that in. It would be alot more holding area so no way it can pull out.
