I am starting a build to day this is vergin water i have never done glass work or tryed to split a hull i have a 550 it's junk laying on the side of the house i want to rocker the nose change the shape of the front nose on the top deck puting a bigger pump I'n I'd like to do a yamy pump not sure yet shorten the hull lighten her up a bit foot holds chop the hood a bit update it an plan on throwing a 701 61x I'n the old girl i need to know how to split the decks without messing up the top deck and bottom i just bought a multi tool blades putty knifes o have lots of torches and what not just a lil bit of idea on how i should atack this deck split i would be super thankful and sorry for the bad English lol

first pic is the shaby spray paint job that i did hahahaha looks like trash forgot that when me and by buddys striped the hull we got a lil wiled with the crobar and messed up where the hood staped would it mess it up if i cut out the squair peace where my primmer sat and mad it flush with the rest ?
cut out the bad spot doing little by little just started it didint have the time with all my court and probation now that stuff is calming down i can get to work on this can any one tell me if it would be bad to shorten this to 6 foot 2 inch? i was thinking of taking a evin amount off the back and front of the hull the langth right now is about 7 foot would it be bad or would the evin amount off each end help it out
