Hey standup-folks,
anybody rebuild the throttle valves+shafts on the Yamaha Superjet OEM 38 Dual-Carburetors? I´m lost with the parts from the Mikuni-Kit MK-BN/038 TV. Is there a kit from Yamaha maybe?
1. it seems there are no nylon bushings for the shaft in the OEM carburetor body, only metal. Is this correct? Should i install the new shafts in the old body without the bushings, only the seals?
2. the old valve has the Mikuni part number 190 embossed, the valves from the Mikuni-Kit have #150 embossed. can i use the new valves anyway?
3. the old assembly has no nylon washers and no c-clip. Where do these go on reassembly with the new shafts?
4. the new shafts have no coupling mechanism on them, like the OEM's. I presume i need the mikuni coupler # MK-BN/001. Is this correct?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
