How do I get my old reduction nozzle off? I took off the 3 bolts holding on my cone and it is bonded on so tight I cant get a flathead inbetween to pry it apart. Is there anything else holding it on besides the silcone it wont budge...

are you talking about the pump cone or reduction nozzle? should be 4 bolts on the reduction nozzle. Maybe thats the problem, LOL.

There should be "tabs" on the pump/nozzle you can use to pry them apart. A gentle whack with a mallet works too.
They are usually pretty tight, but should come apart.

You don't need to take the cone off to take the reduction nozzle off.
Reduction nozzle is held on by the four long skinny pump bolts and two short fat bolts through the top.

If you're trying to get the cone off, wiggle it back and forth a bunch.

Sorry but I am not that dumb lol, I already switched out my prop with a hooker so those 4 skinny bolts have been off for some time.

I have the whole unit out of the ski, I wasnt sure about the cone so I unbolted it just incase. The nozzle is stuck on the pump, I've tried prying on it and hitting it with a mallet and it doesnt want to budge. Its a grey/silver adhesive.

I think your problem is there shouldn't be any adhesive on there, its an oring seal be sure to smear some grease on the oring before you put the cone back on. i haven't herd of the grease eating the oring if your worried about it use a silicone ar synthetic grease on the oring. but for what your doing it is not necessary to pull the cone in the first place, however it wont hurt to inspect the grease and bearings. there should be not water in there and clean grease.
or you could just let it be......

NorcalSJ...you said you removed the 4 skinny bolts but didn't say you removed the 2 larger bolts mounted to the underside of the tray. If you've taken those out and you truly believe that the nozzle is attached with JB weld then your best course of action is to take the pump out of the ski. Once it's out, you can use a propane torch on the JB weld and hit the nozzle on the mounting tabs to help get it off.
