Well its winter over here and its to cold to ride so i thort id rebuild my engine. Ive had the ski for 3 years now and have never rebuilt it, not sure if it was rebuilt befor i got it or if it ever has? it's a 96 (so 62T)?
Im a newb at all this engine stuff:banghead:

My set up
B pipe
v force reeds
msd
ada head (not sur what size domes think 35cc)
standard carbs 38's looking at going bigger (blowsion power bomb's?)
k&n filters
rad flywheel
pump cone
Skat-Trak 12-17 freeride

I was looking at getting a rebuild kit which includes:-
-New Wiseco Hot Rod Crankshaft, Wiseco Pistons, Rings, Circlips, Wrist Pins, Top End Bearings, Complete Gasket Kit & Crankcase Sealant. Is this what i should be looking at??

Im sure that my ski is standard bore size at the moment but ill check.
Im looking at porting it as well, i have the race logic templates and have read the thread.

Im not sure what bore size i should go to? will i need to resleave it?
Im a newb at this ,just need some Direction and some more Power.
Big cheers for any help.:)

Take the head off and see what numbers it has on top of the pistons. If they are wiesco's the last four will be the size. If they are OEM there might be a number like .5 or 1. If there is no number than you are going to have to measure them. It is a good idea to get your cylinder bored the next size because of the amount of time you have on it. They get out of round.

Looks like you are on the right track for your rebuild, I use Pro X pistons for recreational riding v/s Wiseco do you have any port work? If not now would be a good time to do it. PM Paul at Magoos he can give you a lot of good information.

yer ill pop the head off this weekend and check the pistons im sure they are stock tho.
So if im going up a few piston sizes, i just get it re bored and not re sleved??
and i bore it after ive done all the porting?

I wouldn't go up a few pistons sizes. Just .5mm, the next size. I would bore it after you do the porting. Also you need the pistons to bring to the machine shop to get it bored.

Standard size is 81 mm
Next size is 81.5mm
